I apologize for the unplanned hiatus--my computer crashed and for a while I didn't have anything else with a keyboard (no blogging on the Kindle for me, thank you) but we have a temporary solution for now.
When I first became introduced to Young Living, I have to say, I saw the oils very simplistically. If Peace and Calming helped you wind down in the evenings, Valor must certainly boost energy and productivity. However since that time I have had experiences which remind me of how versatile essential oils can be.
When my husband began having difficulty sleeping due to stress-induced nightmares, I decided to apply Valor on the bottoms of his big toes--reflex points which connect to the brain--before bed because of its helpfulness in assuaging anxieties and promoting feelings of confidence. Most happily, he had a night of refreshing sleep. My father, who is a middle-school teacher, tried it in the same way to support restful nights during end-of-the-year chaos, and came to me very pleased with how well he had slept.
But Valor is not only a good sleep support. I like to use it on my back to maintain proper structural alignment, and diffused or on my wrists when I am dealing with worry or insecurity (those butterflies in my stomach!). It can be very uplifting when I am having a dull, gloomy day as well. Valor is a wonderful blend to have in your home.

I used it just last night on my big toe! Worked. Thanks for the tip.
